Opened in 1962, Oakfield has long been a place of friendly interactions, nice people, good food, and great golf. The par 72, 6,750 yard course was designed by Clinton Robbie Robinson who apprenticed under the legendary Stanley Thompson and was redesigned by Graham Cooke in 2003. This beautifully engineered course has hosted numerous major events, such as the Canadian Amateur Golf Championship in 1989, the Diet Pepsi Pro Hockey Golf Challenge in 1992, the NHL'ers For Kids Golf Tournament in 2009, and several provincial championships over the years.
“The club is thrilled to be playing host to this wonderful event and our membership and community alike look forward to showcasing our championship golf course this summer to both the professional golfers and celebrities. I am confident this event will be a highlight for the players and will be one they will look forward to year after year. The conditioning of the golf course will be second to none and be a great test to players.”
